Ukraine wrap up Gdynia visit with defeat

Ukrainian U20 team lost the last game at the European Championship in Poland. They came up short against Montenegro 63:68 to clinch the 13th overall spot.
Kateryna Rymarenko had 13 points in defeat. Oleksandra Prystupa added 10 points and 11 boards for Ukraine.
Our team led by 3 points after ten minutes but could not maintain the advantage and lost the battle.

Ukraine U20 avoid elimination

Ukrainian U20 selection narrowly escaped elimination from European Championship Division A. They posted the second straight win at the relegation round to secure the spot in the top division for the next year.
Ukraine defeated Czech Republic 88:74 behind 18 points from Kateryna Dorogobuzova. Oleksandra Prystupa added 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
Ukraine will wrap up their campaign against Montenegro on Friday. »»

Olena Samburska leads Ukraine to the victory

Olena Samburska scored 28 points to lift Ukrainian U20 selection past Belarus counterparts 98:72 at the European Championship classification round.
Ukraine used a storming 30:5 fourth period to silence Belarus for the win. Kateryna Dorogobuzova tallied 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Alina Iagupova and Taisiia Bovykina added 11 points each in the win.
Ukraine will next face Czech Republic on Wednesday. |

Ukraine U20 surrender against Turkey

Ukrainian U20 National Team suffered the third straight defeat at the European Championship in Gdynia, Poland. They came up short 59:70 against Turkey to complete the preliminary round in the fourth position in Group A. Our team will now try to avoid relegation in the classification games.
Oleksandra Prystupa scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Ukraine against Turkey. Taisiia Bovykina netted 12 points and collected 7 rebounds in defeat.& ... »»

First quarter setback dooms Ukraine in Gdynia

Ukrainian U20 National Team opened their European Championship campaign with a narrow loss to Germany 70:74. Our team lost the starting frame by 10 points and never recovered to slip at 0-1 record in Group A.
Olena Samburska scored 22 points to lead Ukraine. Taisiia Bovykina netted 16 points, while Kateryna Dorogobuzova finished with 13 points in defeat.
Ukraine will next face Spain on Friday. |
